What disaster recovery does your company have in place?
The Rare Goods infrastructure leverages numerous software programs as service platforms, each with its own disaster recovery accommodations. These services are used as part of the purchasing process. Actual management of the digital asset is performed via blockchain which is distributed/stored via Amazon Web Services high availability S3 infrastructure, allowing leverage of multi-regional content load balancing to mitigate risk. Rare Goods is set up on AWS which has a robust disaster recovery architecture in place (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/architecture/disaster-recovery-dr-architecture-on-aws-part-i-strategies-for-recovery-in-the-cloud/). Along with the AWS disaster recovery plan, the Rare Goods team has a well-documented plan to leverage the database backups & code repository to initiate & a secondary system in cases of major outages.
